Each bird has a name card with its birthday and personality notes, and at the end of your session you can hold your favorite owl with a protective glove. The central Hondori shopping arcade and the streets branching off toward the Peace Memorial Park host additional cat cafes that cater to both locals and the steady stream of international visitors drawn to Hiroshima's historical sites. The city's flat terrain and excellent streetcar network make cafe-hopping straightforward.
