Cute and relaxing cafe. We tried two yummy regional teas with the Japanese sweets set. You learn how to steep your own tea, or if you choose a hojicha tea you can toast the leaves yourself. Our server was very patient with the language barrier. We took some unique tea home with us from this place that has a big umami flavor !

This place is a hidden gem in Nara. Bifu was so lovely and gracious to us. The tea was absolutely incredible and he showed us how he makes his incredible art. You must try this place! I’ve been there on both my trips to Japan and I find it such a relaxing and friendly cafe :)
